CalFresh is offering additional benefits during the pandemic. These additional benefits (Pandemic-EBT and Disaster-SNAP) can be used like normal CalFresh benefits at farmers’ markets. You can earn Market Match for qualifying purchases.
If you already have CalFresh:
Emergency Allotment for CalFresh – Households that have received CalFresh in the months of March and April will receive the maximum benefit amount for eligible recipients in the household.
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) passed by the US Congress temporarily suspends CalFresh work requirements for Able-bodied Adults Without Dependents. No one will be required to work 20 hours a week in order to keep receiving CalFresh.
